The required network shall consist (10) stations (BIA1, BIA2, IT1, K2, AJEEL FIELD, IT1A, IT2, IT2A, AZ & MS).
The system configuration of each station will be as follows:- Equipments at above site to be installed inside an existing building, the system shall include Fiber Optic Cables, Fiber Optic Transceivers, Multiplex system, Router, LAN, Switch, G.SHDSL modems, MDF, UPS & Batteries. PABX & DECT system is required for the above sites except BIA1 and BIA2. Electrical power source (220 VAC/50 Hz) is available. Ultra modular electronic PABX, software controlled and equipped with the following SPECIFICATIONS: 1-Q-SIG Networking. 2-Subscriber Groups Remoting. 3-DECT. 4-PABX must be fully redundant and resilient (power supply, call controller,…etc). 5-Remote sites should be equipped with remote shelves instead of separate PBX systems, in order to facilitate management. However, each remote shelve must be capable of having full survivability options. This means, when connection to the main PABX is lost, all features must remain supported, including management of the system. 6-PABX systems should be able to connect analog CO trunk, E1-trunk. 7-Centralized management of all systems. 4.1 The system contains:- Main side located at ( IT1) with following specifications and capacity :- - 500 Extension lines expandable for 800 extension lines with line impedance (2000 Ω). - Ports: 1- E1 2- FE 3- GE 4- RS232 serial port - 20 trunk line. - 24 TIE line E&M wire. - Duplicated common control part. - Duplicated UPS with back up batteries sufficient for 48 hour autonomy. - Line identifier. - Call metering pulse detector at 12/16 KHZ. - MDF with capacity 1000/1000 provided with protection. - Power Supply: -32 -72 VDC and / or 220 VAC. 4.2 Remote side (with stand alone facilities) located at (IT1A, IT2, and IT2A & MS). - 100 Extension line expandable for 250 extension lines. - Ports: 1- E1 2- FE 3- RS232 serial port - 16 Trunk line. - 16 TIE line E&M wire. - Duplicated common control part. - Duplicated UPS with back up batteries sufficient for 48 hour autonomy. - MDF with capacity 100/100 provided with protection. - Power Supply : -32 -72 VDC and / or 220 VAC. NOS 4.3 Stand alone PBX located at (K2). - 100 Extension line expandable for 250 extension lines. - Ports: 1- E1 2- FE 3- RS232 serial port - 16 Trunk line. - 16 TIE line E&M wire. - Duplicated common control part. - Duplicated UPS with back up batteries sufficient for 48 hour autonomy. - MDF with capacity 100/100 provided with protection. - Power Supply : -32 -72 VDC and / or 220 VAC. NOTES 4.4 Stand alone PBX located at (AZ, Ajeel field). - 250 Extension line expandable for 500 extension lines. - Ports: 1- E1 2- FE 3- RS232 serial port - 16 Trunk line. - 16 TIE line E&M wire. - Duplicated common control part. - Duplicated UPS with back up batteries sufficient for 48 hour autonomy. - Line identifier - Call metering pulse detector at 12/16 KHZ - MDF with capacity 600/600 provided with protection. - Power Supply: -32 -72 VDC and / or 220 VAC. 4.5 DECT System located at IT1, Ajeel field , K2 , IT1A , IT2 , IT2A , AZ and MS sites with following requirements:- No of Base Stations / Site : 5 No of Handheld Terminals / Site : 8 ( intrinsically save. heavy duty suitable for explosion risk area, protection against water, protection against dustproof, emergency call key, vibration alarm, low battery warning tone & full duplex hands-free talking ). Less cost rout digit access point (Rooming ). Refer to (PABX & DECT SYSTEM LAYOUT).
